Students First: Rally on State Capitol Tuesday, April 12th

Parents and students from all across Pennsylvania will be arriving in Harrisburg for a rally on the steps of the state Capitol, Tuesday, April 12, to express their strong support for the passage of SB-1, known as school choice legislation.

Also present at the event will be a large number of diverse grassroots coalitions who will be there to demand that the Pennsylvania State Senate pass this critical legislation that will give parents more choices and more control of their children’s education.

Pennsylvania Lt. Governor Jim Cawley, Senate Education Committee Chairman Jeff Piccola, Senator LeAnna Washington, and Representatives Tony Payton, Jim Christiana and Vanessa Lowery Brown are among several officials expected to address the rally.
